Crowne Plaza Perth, an IHG Hotel

Great location, easy walking distance to city. Great idea to have bikes available as I really enjoyed riding along the bike paths beside the river. Pool is great for laps and on the front edge of the building, good views from there too. Maybe worth paying extra for rooms facing the river as the other side faces another apartment block. Some reverberations from heavy footed people above you and from people closing doors loudly.

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I was delighted to discover the culinary gem that is their restaurant. The establishment not only boasts a sophisticated ambiance but also delivers a delightful dining experience with a menu that showcases high-quality cuisine. What truly stood out was the remarkable balance between the excellence of the dishes and the reasonable pricing, making it a rare find in the world of hotel dining. The restaurant at Crowne Plaza successfully combines a pleasurable atmosphere with a commitment to delivering exceptional value, making it a standout choice for those seeking a satisfying meal without compromising on quality.

Overall a fantastic hotel and on will certainly recommend to anyone who visits Perth. The location was a little further from the CBD than other hotels but it was a super simple walk along the river to get to the main hub area. Breakfast has been without a doubt a highlight - everything you could want, kept clean, topped up & nothing is too much trouble for the breakfast staff; they’re great! A real golden nugget I’ve never seen in other hotels (including other CP’s) is complimentary guest serviced laundry both wash & dry - this is something other hotels really should take note of! Thanks CP Perth for a great stay, I’d like to say I’ll be back in WA one day and I’ll be sure to book in again!

The hotel location is quite nice, however the interior is bit outdated. Have been staying there twice within 2 weeks apart in Oct’ 2023. There was only 1 lift operating during the first stay, while another 1 was broken and still broken for the past 2 weeks even when I left the hotel during the second stay. Even the 1 that operating was quite noisy and seems to me requires more maintenance. Another bad experience occurred during the second stay which somehow appeared an extra charge for room phone, the claim that I never did and unfortunately the charge came to my credit card a couple of days after I left the hotel. Looking at the timeline of the calls showing in the bill, clearly indicates if they were made when I was not at the hotel. Although clarification has been made to the front desk, no feedback or investigation has been taken so far. Definitely it doesn’t reflect a 4 star hotel as it claims. Won't be back, therefore no need any apologies.
